Not a Broker or Fund Manager

Pastpip is a trading journal and analytics platform — it does not act as a broker, dealer, exchange, or prop trading firm, does not accept deposits, and does not hold, custody, or manage funds on any user's behalf. Every trade you log was placed through, and executed by, your own independently licensed broker, entirely outside of Pastpip.

Automated Trading (PastpipEAPro / PastpipEAElite)

PastpipEAPro and PastpipEAElite are optional Expert Advisors that place trades on a user's own MT5 account strictly according to rules and parameters that user configures themselves. Pastpip does not select trades, guarantee outcomes, or take on any responsibility for losses resulting from automated trading — you are solely responsible for the settings you choose and the trading decisions those settings produce. All trading involves risk of loss, including the potential loss of your entire trading capital, and automated execution does not reduce that risk. PastpipTradeSyncer, by contrast, never places or manages trades — it only reads your account's already-closed trades and syncs them to your journal, so it works alongside any trading strategy, not just Pastpip's own zone-based approach.

Past Performance Is Not Indicative of Future Results

Win rates, profit/loss figures, streaks, and any other statistics shown in your dashboard, analytics, or exported reports reflect your own historical trading activity as logged in Pastpip. They are not projections, and past performance — your own or anyone else's — is never a reliable indicator of future trading results.

AI Analysis

The optional AI Analysis feature generates written commentary from aggregated statistics derived from your own trade history (win rate, average P&L, risk/reward, and similar summaries). This commentary is generated by a third-party AI model, is provided for self-reflection and informational purposes only, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and should never be treated as financial advice or a substitute for your own judgment.

Prop Firm Challenge Tracker

The Prop Firm Challenge Tracker lets you log rules and targets for a prop firm challenge you've independently enrolled in elsewhere. Pastpip is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any prop trading firm; challenge rules, targets, and pass/fail outcomes are determined solely by that firm, not by Pastpip, and the tracker's calculations are an unofficial convenience only.

Leaderboard and Trade Copier

If you opt in to the public Leaderboard, your displayed statistics reflect only trades that meet our eligibility criteria and may not represent your full trading history. If you use Trade Copier, following another user's positions does not make Pastpip, or the master trader, responsible for the outcome of any mirrored trade — each user remains solely responsible for the trades executed on their own account.
